Microsoft has today announced the availability of the Windows 8 Consumer Preview, a beta version of the highly-anticipated "next milestone" for the Windows operating system.
At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona today, Microsoft's president of the Windows and Windows Live division Steven Sinofsky confirmed that this "work in progress" build of Windows 8 is available to download now from Microsoft's website for anyone with a Windows 7 PC. Read more....
